Job summary

Speechify is seeking a backend engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust APIs (public TTS API, payment, subscription, auth) and oversee the full backend API landscape for performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience with TS/Node

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API, internal APIs like Payment, Subscription, Auth and Consumption Tracking
• Oversee the full backend API landscape, optimize for performance and maintainability
• Collaborate on B2B solutions focusing on customization and integration for enterprise clients
• Work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience
