Job summary

Renesas Electronics Malaysia in Bayan Lepas is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize and control plating processes to achieve high product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

You will create and maintain process specs, PFMEA and control plans, and work with cross-functional teams to implement improvements while evaluating new plating technologies. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of electroplating, surface finishing, wet chemistry, and materials science.
• Experience with DOE, SPC, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in semiconductor assembly plating, lead frame plating, AAS machine chemical analysis or metal-finishing processes is preferred.
