Job summary

Vinda SEA seeks a Plant Initiative Engineer at its Klang HQ to drive process improvements across manufacturing lines. You will apply SPC, Kaizen, and MES/ERP tools to optimize production, support plant operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics Engineering.
3-5 years of relevant FMCG/manufacturing experience.
Knowledge in Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Excellent communication in English and Bahasa; adaptable to different levels.
Experience with MES & ERP is a plus.
Exposure to Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Improve safety, quality, and efficiency across production lines according to standards.
Apply QMS/EMS/Safety rules and drive health and environmental compliance.
Transfer knowledge through project initiatives and documentation.
Update machine standards and collaborate with Process Engineer on new lines.
Audit material usage and identify waste reduction opportunities.
Identify new technologies and benchmark across plants and teams.
Participate in Daily Operation Meetings and support tech improvements.
Contribute to material rationalization and monthly initiative meetings with data-driven input.
Ensure cross-department communication and project alignment.
