Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust plant equipment (valves, pumps, compressors, furnaces, control panels) to ensure smooth production flow and maintain required process variables (temperature, pressure, flow, vacuum, chemical levels)
• Review processing schedules, operating logs, oil sample test results, and laboratory recommendations; adjust operations to achieve specified product quality and quantity
• Conduct routine inspections, patrols, and equipment checks to detect malfunctions (e.g., leaks, breakages, faulty valves) and perform minor maintenance, cleaning, or lubrication as needed
• Record operating data accurately (gauges, flowmeters, temperatures, pressures) and compile reports for production tracking and compliance purposes
• Sample and test products for chemical and physical characteristics; ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Support the Shift Supervisor by carrying out assigned duties, including troubleshooting, product treatment, and safe execution of plant operations
