Job summary

B.I.G. Industrial Gas Sdn Bhd in Malaysia's Sarawak region invites applications for a plant operator role. You will handle cylinder refilling, manage daily plant operations, and assist with delivery loads. This position is based at our Samalaju Industrial Park site, near Bintulu.

We welcome fresh graduates and those with a year of relevant mechanical experience. Candidates should be safety-minded, able to work as part of a team, and committed to upholding ISO 9001 standards and our SOPs.

Qualifications

• SPM/SKM or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably 1 year of practical or mechanical experience.
• Team player with strong problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures.
• Open to fresh graduates eager to learn.
• Based at Samalaju Industrial Park and Bintulu.

• Execute cylinder refilling based on provided guidelines.
• Manage daily operations of the filling plant, including maintenance and storage systems with various tasks when necessary.
• Load and unload cylinder upon delivery and return.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming, stored, and outgoing products, ensuring readiness for final QA/QC approval.
• Ensure all operations comply with SOPs, ISO 9001 standards, and other relevant regulations.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment per safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute cylinder refilling based on provided guidelines.
• Manage the daily operations of the filling plant, including maintenance and storage systems with various tasks when necessary.
• Load and unloading cylinder upon delivery and return.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming, stored, and outgoing products, ensuring they are ready to final QA/QC approval.
• Ensure all operations comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ISO 9001 standards, and other relevant regulations.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment in accordance with B.I.G. Industrial Gas Sdn Bhd’s safety guidelines.

Experience in ASU plant, DA plant operations and CO2 tank handling is an added advantage

Requirements:
