Job summary

Hi-P International is seeking a production leader to oversee reliability, compliance, quality, and safety programs across the plant. You will organize management systems, lead team meetings, and ensure staff are trained and adhere to safety and quality standards.

You will drive production plans, manage schedules and inventories, optimize costs, and supervise equipment maintenance. Collaborate with management to achieve strategic plant goals and continuous improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability, compliance, quality and safety programs; ensuring government and environmental regulations are met.
• Organize the formulation, implementation, inspection, supervision and control of production department management systems.
• Prepare and conduct team meetings to achieve proper communication and team development.
• Ensure personnel are trained and operate in line with safety and quality requirements; coordinate safety training and maintain records.
• Evaluate performance against production targets; adjust resources to optimize quality and cost efficiency; identify and report production issues.
• Implement production plan; monitor production schedule; maintain sufficient inventory to meet supply needs; complete tasks on time and in quality and quantity.
• Maintain and upgrade equipment; oversee maintenance of measuring instruments; improve equipment utilization and address major problems.
• Formulate and implement production labor and labor discipline policies.
• Lead 6S and lean projects to reduce plant operating costs; manage overtime and optimize methods for efficiency.
• Manage direct reports, provide coaching and training, and monitor performance and procurement to control costs.
• Oversee new product testing, new technology and equipment applications to optimize production costs.
• Manage and analyze production database.
• Collaborate with plant manager to set strategic goals and vision for the plant.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.
