Job summary

Sibelco, Tapah site, is seeking an experienced Manager Operations to oversee production, mining, maintenance, logistics, health, safety and sustainability. You will drive financial and operational performance and lead the plant team toward strategic goals.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Mining or related fields and 10+ years in industrial operations leadership, with strong Lean and change-management capabilities. This permanent role supports a safety-first, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Experienced operations leader with strong knowledge of plant operations and people management.
• Proven ability to deliver financial and operational performance in an industrial setting.
• Strong background in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Good financial and business acumen with change-management experience.
• Excellent communication across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for plant financial performance and costs within budgets.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting; monitor financial and operational results.
• Manage costs including CAPEX, inventory and headcount.
• Establish KPIs, plans and performance targets; report regularly.
• Lead, coach and develop the plant operations team; ensure succession planning.
• Foster an inclusive, safe, and collaborative work environment.
