Job summary

Sibelco Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Tapah plant, seeks an experienced Manager Operations to oversee production, mining, maintenance, logistics, health, safety and sustainability. You will lead the plant team to achieve agreed operational and financial targets while ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

You will partner with senior management to shape short and long-term goals, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and build a capable, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mining/mineral processing, mechanical or chemical engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for plant financial performance and manage plant costs within budgets.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for the Tapah plant.
• Manage plant expenses, inventory, CAPEX and people costs.
• Establish and monitor plant KPIs and performance targets.
• Lead plant performance reviews and report results.
• Drive continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Ensure HSE compliance and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with HR on workforce planning and engagement.
