Job summary

Terengganu Silica Consortium Sdn.Bhd. is seeking a Mechanical & Service Supervisor based in Setiu to lead maintenance operations. You will report to the Senior Supervisor and Engineer, coordinating with the Operations Supervisor to ensure plant equipment availability.

The role focuses on supervising maintenance staff, driving plant projects, and ensuring compliance with SOPs while managing preventive maintenance and facilitating problem solving and reporting for ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Maintenance, or related Engineering field.
• 2-4 years in plant maintenance, construction, or process equipment operations.
• Knowledge of process plant systems, pumps, piping, and valves.
• Experience leading a maintenance team and coordinating daily tasks.
• Strong analytical ability to identify and forecast equipment problems.
• Coordination with multiple departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Physically fit to work in industrial plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Reporting & Coordination – Reports to Senior Supervisor and Engineer; coordinates with Operation Supervisor to ensure plant equipment availability.
• Plant Projects & Improvements – Involved in construction, expansion, upgrading, and improvement of plant systems and equipment.
• Supervision & Compliance – Leads staff, conducts briefings, and ensures adherence to SOPs for maintenance work.
• Technical & Preventive Maintenance – Oversees maintenance, refurbishment, and upkeep of pumps, piping, valves, and other equipment to standard conditions.
• Problem-Solving & Reporting – Analyses equipment issues, recommends corrective actions, and submits daily maintenance/prevention reports.
