Job summary

Korn Ferry is partnering with a client to recruit a Plant Financial Controller. The role oversees all financial activities of the manufacturing site, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory control, and governance.

The position collaborates with plant leadership to improve profitability and drive operational performance. The successful candidate will lead cost accounting, ensure strong internal controls, and develop the plant finance team while delivering

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance and professional certification (CPA/ACCA/CA/CMA or equivalent) preferred.
• 10+ years of finance experience, with manufacturing or plant exposure.
• Strong cost accounting, inventory management, budgeting, and financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial closing and reporting activities.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the plant.
• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock controls, and working capital performance.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, policies, and audit requirements.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Lead and develop the plant finance team.
