Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Plant Manager Manufacturing Engineering in Malaysia to lead engineering and program launch teams, drive process improvements, and ensure successful product introductions. You will oversee capital budgeting, staffing, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve operational excellence, quality, and on-time launches in a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment.

Role requires a strong background in mechanical/industrial engineering, at least 8 years of automotive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, automotive, industrial engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant automotive manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, Quality Systems and Operational Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee plant engineering and program launch activities from design to SOP.
• Provide day-to-day administrative and technical leadership to engineers and technicians.
• Develop and deploy manufacturing processes, standards, and capital planning aligned with growth and operational excellence.
• Manage budgeting, staffing, training, and performance reviews for the department.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration to meet project milestones and customer requirements.
• Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure successful launches with timely delivery.
