Planner III (Materials)

Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Malaysia seeks a materials planner to manage planning and procurement activities, ensuring on-time delivery of parts for manufacturing. You will forecast needs, coordinate with buyers and suppliers, and monitor data integrity across the system.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in engineering or related fields, with manufacturing experience and strong organizational skills. Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm, with emphasis on accuracy and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in relevant engineering/ sciences.
• Minimum 2 years working experience with Bachelor’s degree.
• Diploma holder with at least 5 years experience in manufacturing expected.

Responsibilities

• Parts maintenance checking before project kick in.
• Plan & schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commits.
• Coordinate with Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery.
• Maintain systems data and ensure correct entry of purchase and fabrication parts.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement contingency plans.
• Work with vendors on new revision materials or temporary change orders.
• Renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan with suppliers.
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment.
• Review daily reports with purchasing department.
• Coordinate with quality engineers on non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers.
• Attend production meetings for communication and updates.
• Generate management reports and other tasks as assigned.

Education

Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering

Bachelor’s degree in engineering / science/ mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Parts maintenance checking before project kick in

• Co-ordinate with other departments includingBuyer, Operations, Programme and Warehousefor on-time delivery
• Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly.
• Identify the possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans
• Work with existing vendor on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order.
• To renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in & out with suppliers accordingly.
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment
• Review report daily with purchasing dept.
• To coordinate withquality engineers of any non-conforming materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers
• Attend production meetings and any others for communication and update purpose
• Generate management report and other activities as assigned by Superior

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering

Experience Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering / science/ mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering At least 2 years working experience
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Industrial Systems Engineering with At least 5 years working experience
• Preferably in manufacturing environment
• No fear of paper works and system update
• Working hours: Mon – Fri (8:30am – 5:30pm)
