Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Strategic Sourcing Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving value through significant cost savings and enhanced efficiency across our Business Services, IT, and Logistics & Industrial ecosystems. You will be a trusted advisor to our senior stakeholders, collaborating closely with IT, HR, Operations, Finance, Legal, and external partners to deliver impactful results and optimize our addressable spend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead the end-to-end sourcing process for a variety of Business Services, IT, and Logistics & Industrial categories, including but not limited to: Event Management, Facility Management, L1 IT Support, Laptop Leasing, Warehouse operations, Transportation, HR Recruitment, Payroll services, Company Car Leasing, and Corporate Travel.
    • Understanding global sourcing and business strategies to develop and implement local category strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Conducting market analysis and identifying potential suppliers.
    • Leading RFx processes and negotiating favorable commercial terms to achieve significant savings and spend efficiencies.
    • Managing contracts and ensuring compliance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing, PR, IT, HR, Operations, Finance, and Legal.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and expertise on procurement best practices within your assigned categories.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business needs and develop sourcing strategies that deliver value beyond cost.
    • Communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders on project status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Performance Management:
    • Track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, innovation, risk, and sustainability across your categories.
    • Develop and implement Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) programs for strategic suppliers, fostering collaborative relationships and driving innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
  • Contribute to the Evolution of Procurement:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in Business Services, IT, Logistics & Industrial procurement.
    • Champion the value of procurement within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in a similar Strategic Sourcing and/or Procurement role with 5+ years of relevant experience in Business Services, IT, and/or Logistics & Industrial categories.
  • Deep understanding of these categories and the vendor landscape.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A value creation mindset.
  • Passion for optimizing spend and a desire to drive innovation.
  • Exposure to transformation and system implementation projects in a multinational environment is advantageous.
