Job summary

Ipoh Physiotherapy Centre in Ipoh, Perak is seeking an Assistant Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team on a contract basis. You will assist the physiotherapist in assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation, delivering personalised plans and supporting patients on their recovery journey.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate records, and contribute to ongoing professional development while delivering high-quality care in our state-of-the-art facilities with

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy or related field.
• Registered with the Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA) or other relevant governing body.
• 1–2 years of experience as an assistant physiotherapist; fresh graduates welcome.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physiotherapist in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with a variety of physical conditions and injuries.
• Implementing individualised treatment plans under the supervision of senior physiotherapist.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Providing hands‑on physiotherapy interventions such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and the application of modalities.
• Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date patient records.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
