Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy (recognised institution)
Full registration with Malaysian Physiotherapy Association (MPA)
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (hospital, rehab centre, or private practice)
Fresh graduates with strong clinical placements are encouraged to apply
Experience in home visits / domiciliary care is an advantage
Exposure to corporate or occupational physiotherapy is a bonus
Strong clinical assessment and reasoning skills (musculoskeletal, neurological, general physiotherapy)
Proficiency in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and electrotherapy
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages are a plus)
Patient-centred approach with strong empathy and motivation skills
Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
Possess valid driving licence and own transport (for outreach/home visits)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and clinic management systems

Responsibility
Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments (history taking, functional testing, postural analysis, musculoskeletal examination)
- Formulate accurate clinical diagnoses and develop evidence-based, individualised treatment plans
- Review and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation (assessments, progress notes, discharge summaries)
Treatment & Rehabilitation
- Deliver physiotherapy interventions (manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, dry needling where applicable)
- Provide rehabilitation for post-surgical and post-injury cases (orthopaedic, neurological, cardiorespiratory, sports injuries)
- Conduct home visits for patients requiring domiciliary physiotherapy care when necessary
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, ergonomics, and self-management strategies
Corporate & Community Wellness
- Conduct postural assessments and workplace injury prevention programmes
- Deliver group physiotherapy and wellness sessions (corporate, schools, community events)
- Participate in health screenings, wellness days, and outreach initiatives
- Support development of physiotherapy programmes for corporate and industrial clients
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Collaborate with doctors, occupational therapists, and allied health professionals
- Liaise with referring practitioners to ensure continuity of care
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and internal training
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development
Administrative & Operational Duties
- Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with standards
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe use of equipment and facilities
