Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kota Damansara, Malaysia. The Photographer & Videographer will be responsible for both photography and videography production, capturing high-quality visual content for our clients' social media and marketing campaigns.

This is a combined role that requires handling both photography and videography responsibilities, from concept development and shooting to post-production editing. The successful candidate will work closely with the creative team to ensure that all visual content aligns with the brand's philosophy and marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Creation

• Produce high-quality and visually engaging photos and videos for various social media platforms.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand brand identity, messaging, and content requirements.
• Conceptualise and execute creative ideas that align with social media trends and platform best practices.

2. Photography & Videography

• Capture both professional photography and video content for social media campaigns and marketing materials.
• Utilise professional-grade cameras, lighting equipment, and editing tools.
• Conduct photo and video shoots in studio and on-location settings, ensuring strong composition, lighting, and storytelling.
• Perform post-production editing, including photo retouching and video editing.
• Maintain and organise a library of digital visual assets.
• Stay updated on social media trends, content formats, and platform requirements.
• Ensure all visuals are optimised for engagement and platform specifications.
• Engage with clients to understand their branding goals, preferences, and feedback.
• Work collaboratively to develop visual concepts that support marketing strategies.

5. Project Management

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Coordinate with account executives, graphic designers, and the creative team to ensure cohesive content production.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, and/or Final Cut Pro.
• Proven experience in both photography and videography, preferably for social media content.
• Ability to operate and maintain professional photography and videography equipment.
• Strong creative eye, composition skills, and visual storytelling ability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Photography, Videography, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in graphic design is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
