Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Shah Alam. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions for safety and appropriateness, and provide clear counseling on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing inventory, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate records, and supporting over-the-counter product selection. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare providers when needed, overseeing pharmacy assistants, and contributing to health education initiatives and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Possess a recognized degree in Pharmacy and be registered (or eligible for registration) with the relevant Pharmacy Board or Council.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, prescription verification, medication safety, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear patient counseling and compassionate customer service.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and sound clinical judgment.
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and pharmacy management software; comfortable with maintaining digital records.
• Demonstrated teamwork skills and the ability to supervise and guide pharmacy support staff when required.
• Experience in community or retail pharmacy settings is an advantage; new graduates with strong motivation to learn are also encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to work on-site in Shah Alam, including weekends or shifts as needed, in line with operational requirements.
