Job summary

Beacon TCM in Malaysia is seeking a pharmacy professional to support daily operations and ensure compliance with professional, legal, and hospital standards.

You will review prescriptions, manage inventory, and participate in quality programs, handling cytotoxic drugs safely, and supporting GPP/GMP standards to ensure accurate dispensing and timely patient access.

• Supervision: Assists the pharmacy manager in overseeing daily operations of the pharmacy department.
• Standards and Compliance: Ensures medication preparation, dispensing, and pharmacy practices meet professional, legal, and hospital standards.
• Quality Programs: Helps the pharmacy manager in creating, documenting, and implementing quality improvement programs.
• Prescription Management: Reviews, prepares, dispenses, and documents patient prescriptions while ensuring appropriateness and accuracy.
• Controlled Substances: Maintains and reviews records of narcotics and controlled medications, resolving any discrepancies.
• Cytotoxic Drugs: Supports the safe preparation, handling, and disposal of cytotoxic drugs and waste.
• Standards Implementation: Assists in implementing pharmaceutical standards like Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Patient Programs: Enrolls patients in assistance programs, provides counseling, and ensures timely medication access.
• Inventory Control: Enforces proper drug inventory management, including storage, purchasing, and supply maintenance throughout the hospital.
