Tung Shin Hospital is seeking a Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy Team. The role focuses on providing comprehensive pharmacy services to patients and supporting clinical wards to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective medication use.

To work with the Pharmacy Team to provide a comprehensive Pharmacy Service to patients. To support the pharmacy and clinical wards/departments to ensure that patients receive their medication in a timely, professional and efficient manner with all the necessary practical and clinical information. To work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance patient safety and ensure that Medicines Management practices are safe and effective. To be responsible for ensuring the safe, appropriate and cost-effective use of medicines for patients.
1. To work with the multidisciplinary team and educate patients / nursing staff about prescribed medication regimes with the aim of improving compliance.
2. To participate in Incident Report, near miss, medication error, intervention monitoring and audit process
3. To participate in the training, develop and implement procedures for pharmacy technicians
4. To assist in the effective management and control of pharmacy inventories by make use of the established PAR levels.
5. To review all applicable Policy and Procedures (P&P) within the Pharmacy department. To ensure development of all new P&P’s in accordance with change of practice and legislation.
6. Proactively assist in service review, performance monitoring, audit and quality assurance programmes.
1. Candidate must possess Degree in Pharmacy e.g. B.Sc in Pharmacy or an equivalent qualification
2. Be registered with the Malaysian Board of Pharmacy
3. Possess a valid Pharmacist Poison Type A license.
