We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and experienced Petrol Station Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our petrol station located in Sukau, Sabah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining fuel inventory, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering excellent customer service. This is a hands‑on role that requires operational efficiency, financial oversight, and strong leadership.
Manage the overall operations of the petrol station, including retail petrol / diesel sales, staff scheduling, and customer service.
Supervise station staff, ensuring roles and responsibilities are carried out efficiently and professionally.
Monitor and manage fuel inventory levels and coordinate timely restocking with suppliers.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards as required by local authorities.
Perform daily cash reconciliation, sales reporting, and banking.
Oversee minor maintenance of pumps and other station equipment; coordinate major repairs with contractors when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, sales, expenses, and daily operations.
Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and proper signage at the fuel station.
Minimum 2 years of experience in fuel station operations, retail management, or a related field.
Diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in mechanics or business management is a plus.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia (English or local dialects an added advantage).
Basic knowledge of fuel pump systems and safety procedures.
Honest, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willing to be based in Sukau and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required.
