Job summary

SHARP ELECTRONICS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a reliable Personal Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation for Top Management and family members. The role requires a clean driving record, strong knowledge of local routes, and a commitment to punctuality and discretion.

The driver will transport passengers, plan routes, maintain the vehicle, and handle errands while upholding a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a personal or professional driver.
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Strong commitment to safety and defensiveness.
• Punctuality and discretion in all affairs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Security experience is advantageous.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely to and from work, meetings, appointments, and events.
• Plan and optimize driving routes for timely arrivals considering traffic and weather.
• Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle; arrange routine servicing as needed.
• Prioritize passenger safety and comfort during journeys.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding passengers and their information.
• Perform personal errands as required (grocery, dry cleaning, etc.).
• Maintain professionalism in attire, manner, and service.
• Communicate schedule changes and relevant information clearly and promptly.

Job description

A reliable and professional Personal Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services for our Top Management and their family member. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, excellent knowledge of local routes, and a commitment to punctuality and discretion. The Personal Driver will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of the passenger(s) while maintaining the vehicle in top condition.

Job Responsibilities

Transportation: Safely transport passengers to and from various locations, including work, meetings, appointments, and social events.

Route Planning: Plan and optimize driving routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations, taking into consideration traffic conditions, weather, and other factors.

Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Arrange and monitor routine maintenance and repairs when required.

Safety: Comply with all traffic laws and regulations. Prioritize passenger safety and ensure a smooth and comfortable journey.

Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding passengers and their personal information. Exercise discretion in all matters related to the role.

Errands: Perform personal errands as required, such as grocery shopping, collecting dry cleaning, or other tasks requested by the passenger.

Professionalism: Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times, including appropriate attire, a courteous manner, and a service-oriented attitude.

Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with passengers regarding schedules, changes, and other relevant information.

Job Requirements

Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Experience: Proven experience as a personal or professional driver.

Knowledge of Local Area: Excellent knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and alternate routes.

Safety-Oriented: Strong commitment to safety and the ability to drive defensively.

Punctuality: Excellent time management skills and a commitment to punctuality.

Discretion: Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all aspects of the role.

Physical Fitness: Ability to assist with luggage or packages if needed.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications: Professional Driver/ CPR/First Aid Certification: Certification in CPR or first aid is a plus.

Security Experience: Experience in security or as a bodyguard is advantageous.

Multilingual: Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus, depending on the passenger's needs.

Attractive Earning Potential - Up to RM5,000.00 per month (Including Overtime & Allowance).

Basic Salary: RM2,700.00- RM3,000.00 per month.
