Job summary

GLOBAL PALM VENTURES SDN BHD seeks a highly disciplined Personal Bodyguard / Close Protection Officer to safeguard the employer during daily activities, meetings, events, and travel. Must maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and situational awareness at all times.

Responsibilities include accompanying the employer to appointments and events, identifying risks, coordinating safe movements, and coordinating with staff. Travel locally and overseas may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Bodyguard or Close Protection preferred.
• Physically fit, disciplined and alert.
• Strong observation and communication skills.
• Willing to travel locally and overseas and work irregular hours.
• Must possess a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide close personal protection and security to the employer
• Accompany the employer to meetings, appointments, events, and other locations as required
• Identify and assess potential security risks or suspicious activities
• Maintain constant situational awareness and respond appropriately to security concerns
• Conduct basic security assessments of locations and surroundings
• Coordinate safe entry, exit, and movement of the employer
• Work closely with the Personal Assistant, driver, management, and other relevant personnel
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the employer's personal life, business matters, schedule, and movements
• Remain calm and professional during emergency or high-pressure situations
• Be available for travel, overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity, loyalty, and confidentiality
• Must be punctual, responsible, and reliable
• Willing to work flexible and irregular working hours
