The Perfume Shop is a long-established fragrance retailer in Malaysia seeking energetic Retail Associates to join our team at 1 Utama and Sunway Pyramid. You’ll engage customers, promote products, and contribute to our social media and livestreaming efforts.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, meeting sales targets, handling cashiering, and maintaining store presentation. No prior training required; training provided for the right candidate.

The Perfume Shop is a long-established fragrance retailer offering a wide range of genuine branded perfumes at attractive prices.

We are looking for energetic, customer-focused and team-oriented Retail Associates to join our growing retail team at 1 Utama and Sunway Pyramid.

This role is more than simply serving customers and making sales. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable interacting with customers, working as part of a team and contributing to our growing social media and livestreaming activities.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional and confident manner.

Understand customers' preferences and recommend suitable fragrances based on their needs and budget.

Provide accurate product information and explain fragrance characteristics clearly.

Achieve store sales targets.

Maintain a high standard of customer service and create a positive shopping experience.

Handle cashiering, payments and basic sales transactions accurately.

Store Operations

Maintain the cleanliness, presentation and overall standards of the store.

Ensure products are properly displayed, priced and replenished.

Assist with stock receiving, stock checks and inventory management.

Follow company procedures relating to sales, discounts, promotions and stock handling.

Assist with opening and closing duties when required.

Social Media & Content

Participate actively in the company's social media activities.

Appear in short-form videos, product features, promotional content and other social media materials.

Assist in creating simple and engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Be willing to be featured on camera and communicate naturally with viewers.

Share ideas for content, promotions and ways to increase customer engagement.

Livestreaming

Participate in livestream sessions to showcase fragrances, promotions and new products.

Introduce products confidently and interact with viewers during livestreams.

Answer customer questions and encourage engagement during live sessions.

Support the team with preparation before and after livestreams.

Teamwork & Initiative

Work closely with other Retail Associates, Senior Staff and Management to achieve store objectives.

Support team members during busy periods and step in where help is needed.

Communicate openly and respectfully with colleagues.

Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them responsibly.

Be proactive in identifying problems and suggesting practical solutions.

Understand that store performance is a team effort, not just an individual responsibility.

Working Schedule

5/6-day work week (shift).

Retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as scheduled.

Candidates must be willing to work on weekends and during peak retail periods.
