Job summary

IKEA Kuching is seeking a HR Generalist who will be a trusted People partner supporting our co-workers and leaders across the full employee lifecycle. You will deliver operational HR excellence while helping build an engaging workplace where people can grow and perform at their best.

As part of our multi-skilled store, you will collaborate with the wider team and support commercial, sales and operational activities when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience across HR functions including administration, recruitment, payroll coordination and learning & development.
• Good understanding of Malaysian employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to build positive coworker relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HR administration across the employee lifecycle with accurate documentation and compliance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and new coworker integration.
• Coordinate payroll administration and HR operational processes.
• Coordinate learning and development activities and mandatory training.
• Support performance management, engagement and organisational development initiatives.
• Partner with leaders to provide day-to-day People support and advice.
• Maintain HR systems and employee records with confidentiality.
• Support cross-functional HR projects to strengthen business performance.
• Contribute to multi-skilled store operations and cross-functional collaboration.
