Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee the full spectrum of HR activities in our Malaysian operations. The role emphasizes recruitment, payroll processing, policies, staff welfare and disciplinary processes to ensure regulatory compliance and staff well-being.

The successful candidate will manage benefits, training, and documentation while collaborating with management to implement HR strategies across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration or related field required.
• At least 3 years of HR experience.
• Knowledge of HR employment laws and practices preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work independently and be proactive.
• Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all HR tasks including recruitment, training development, counselling and grievances.
• Review and update company policies related to HR matters and promote understanding and compliance among all staff.
• Handle staff disciplinary actions, investigations, discussions and other related matters.
• Manage staff attendance, movements and leaves applications.
• Process monthly payroll and submit statutory payments on time.
• Responsible for staff benefits, medicals and related matters.
• Prepare, update and review HR-related documentation.
• Manage staff working environment, engagements and staff welfare.
• Handle office administration tasks as assigned by manager.
