Job summary

Hytech Consulting Management Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled penetration tester in Kuala Lumpur to assess applications, networks, and IT infrastructure. You will design and execute test plans, perform vulnerability assessments, and document findings with remediation guidance.

The role requires 2+ years in penetration testing, strong knowledge of network protocols, and proficiency with tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nmap.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or Information Security.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP are a plus.
• 2+ years of penetration testing or cybersecurity experience.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and operating systems.
• Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth penetration tests on applications, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Develop and execute test plans including vulnerability scanning and attack simulations.
• Identify and document security vulnerabilities with remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity team to evaluate system resilience.
• Stay current on security threats and adapt testing strategies.
• Assist in developing security policies and best practices.
