Job summary

Hytech, a leading management consulting firm, is seeking a penetration tester to assess applications, networks, and IT infrastructure as part of our cybersecurity practice in Malaysia.

You will develop test plans, execute vulnerability checks, document findings with remediation guidance, and collaborate with the cybersecurity team to simulate realistic attack scenarios, staying abreast of new threats and technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science or Information Security.
• 2+ years of penetration testing or similar cybersecurity experience.
• Strong knowledge of networks, apps security and OS.
• Experience with Metasploit, Burp Suite and Nmap.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth penetration tests on applications, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Create and execute test plans including vulnerability scanning and exploit research.
• Document security vulnerabilities with remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity team to simulate attack scenarios.
• Stay updated on security threats and testing techniques.
