Job summary

Neusoft is recruiting an IP Systems Engineer for the AMD S3 Business Unit in Penang. The contractor will drive planning, pre-silicon validation, bring-up and debug of AMD graphics and memory related features, collaborating across design, firmware, driver and project teams.

The role requires strong SOC architecture knowledge, BIOS/OS interactions, and pre/post-silicon experience. You will lead validation efforts, develop tools, and support cross-functional resolutions.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of SOC architecture and concepts.
• Strong understanding of BIOS, OS, and driver-level interactions and common failure points.
• Experience with pre/post-silicon validation.
• Experience with lab equipment and hardware debugging.
• Led process improvements to engineering quality.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the overall functional test plan and verification strategy for GMDOFF features of AMD SOCs.
• Drive validation tool/script development and methodological improvements.
• Debug bring-up, validation, and production phase issues; lead cross-functional debug efforts.
• Collaborate with design, diagnostics, firmware, drivers, and project leadership.
• Support pre-silicon verification efforts such as SimNow and emulation.
• Lead technical discussions to roll out initiatives and resolutions.
