Job summary

Career Horizons is seeking a Finance Analyst for a multinational manufacturing company in Penang. The role sits in Business Analytics, Planning & Reporting (BAPR) and focuses on delivering actionable financial insights that guide strategic decision-making across the Finance organization.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide in-depth reporting that drives business outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or a professional qualification.
Solid experience in finance reporting, analytics, and business partnering.
Advanced Excel skills and ability to connect multiple data sources (Power BI, SQL).
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and dashboard development is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation and analysis of financial reporting packages (corporate/executive).
Perform month-end close, variance analysis, accruals and reclassification.
Drive annual budget and quarterly forecast cycles with analytical support.
Coordinate close and reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Partner with leadership in project management and follow-up on action items.
