Job summary

You will manage and develop staff, conduct training and appraisals, enforce HACCP and safety standards, oversee purchasing, stock control, and vendor liaison, and report to the Operations Manager to support sustainable day-to-day operations and client retention.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a catering operation and supervising staff.
• Knowledge of food safety HACCP standards.
• Ability to coordinate with chefs and operations leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure legal requirements and Sodexo standards related to food safety and workplace safety are implemented throughout operating processes.
• Oversee staff training and deployment, ensuring they are briefed on roles.
• Maintain high standards in menu planning, merchandising, and service quality.
• Manage budgeting, purchasing, stock control, and financial reporting to the Operations Manager.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships and drive service excellence.
