Job summary

UCSI Schools Group in Malaysia is seeking a passionate Physical Education teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across primary and secondary classes. The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science and be able to deliver swimming lessons, coordinate activities, and support student welfare.

You will teach about 75% of weekly load, with additional duties as assigned, and collaborate with colleagues in Kuala Lumpur, Subang Jaya, Springhill, and Port

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science or related field.
• At least 3 years teaching in a school.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
• Willing to work extra hours when required.
• Positive, friendly, and outgoing personality.

Responsibilities

• Teach primary/secondary classes with some admin duties as directed by supervisor.
• Teach about 75 percent weekly load; if the teaching load is lower, other related responsibilities will be allocated (e.g., school events, student welfare).
• Provide a variety of learning experiences that actively engage students and are appropriate for individual needs.
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs, and student organizations.
• Keep up to date with developments in the subject area, teaching resources and methods.
• Perform all other duties relating to the above that may be assigned by supervisor.

Job description

We are looking for a Physical Education (PE) Teacher who loves teaching and has a strong grasp of the subject. The perfect candidate should be able to excite and inspire students, while also nurturing their enthusiasm for the subject.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To teach primary/secondary classes with some administrative duties as directed by your supervisor.
• Teach about 75 percent weekly load; if the teaching load is lower, other related responsibilities will be allocated, which may include but not be limited to, school events and student welfare.
• To provide a variety of learning experiences that actively engages students and are appropriate for their individual needs.
• To participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs, and student organizations.
• To keep up to date with developments in the subject area, teaching resources and methods.
• To perform all other duties relating to the above that may be assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree majoring in Sports Science or its related field of studies.
• Can work in Kuala Lumpur/Subang Jaya/Springhill, Port Dickson.
• Excellent command of English in both written and spoken.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
• Good communication skills and time management skills. Willing to work in a team and follow instructions given.
• Dedicated and passionate about education. Able to work extra hours when required.
• Having a positive attitude, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Capable of delivering swimming lessons.
