FEMALE PE/CCA Teacher - Secondary School
The International Modern Arabic School – Hulu Langat, Selangor
The FEMALE PE & CCA Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons to secondary students while leading and developing Co-Curricular Activities (CCA). The successful candidate should promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and a healthy lifestyle through a variety of sporting and recreational activities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate PE lessons for secondary students.
- Develop students' physical fitness, coordination, sporting skills, teamwork, and understanding of healthy lifestyles.
- Adapt activities to accommodate different abilities, fitness levels, and learning needs.
- Assess and monitor students' progress in accordance with school curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure all PE activities are conducted in a safe, professional, and well-managed environment.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct sports-related CCA programmes for secondary students.
- Coach and develop school teams for competitions and sporting events.
- Organise training sessions, fixtures, tournaments, and inter-school activities.
- Encourage student participation in sports and other physical activities.
About you (FEMALE)
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Sports Management, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in an international school setting, preferably at the secondary level.
- Recognised teaching qualification or teaching certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of PE curriculum, sports coaching, and student fitness development.
- Experience coaching school teams or managing sports-related CCAs is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of different abilities, backgrounds, and cultures.
- Energetic, responsible, organised, and enthusiastic about student development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multicultural international school team.
