Job summary

Agilent Technologies Malaysia is seeking an Engineering Data Management Specialist to join our Manufacturing team in Penang. You will develop and maintain ECO processes, coordinate engineering changes, and ensure data integrity across ERP systems.

You will structure BOMs for NPI, support part setup and release, and drive PDM improvements for ISO9K/ISO13485 compliance. You will collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing and Product Support as an internal consultant on product

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
1-3 years of engineering data management experience.
Experience with engineering change management in complex manufacturing.
Strong understanding of BOM structures and configuration management.
Proficiency with PLM and ERP systems; SAP ECC experience a must.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail; problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ECO process and coordinate engineering changes.
Interface with Production, Procurement, and other functions for data integrity across ERP systems.
Structure/setup BOM for NPI; support parts setup and release.
Support NPI by driving product life cycle discipline and monitoring deliverables.
Drive CPL release and obsolescence for product launches and lifecycle management.
Lead projects representing the Product Data Management team.
