Jabil is seeking an experienced Electrical Development Engineer to design and develop PCBA test equipment and automation solutions. The role focuses on ICT, FCT, and ATE platforms, with responsibilities spanning fixture design, schematic creation, debugging, and validation across production lines.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in analog/digital circuits, communication protocols, and PLC/LabVIEW/Python/C#.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Electronics/Automation or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA test equipment development or test system engineering.
• Strong understanding of ICT, FCT, ATE principles and electronic manufacturing test processes.
• Familiar with digital/analog circuit design and UART, CAN, RS485 protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop electrical systems for PCBA test equipment (ICT/FCT/ATE).
• Develop test fixtures, jigs, and automated testing solutions.
• Create schematics, select components, and perform integration, debugging, and validation.
• Develop and optimize functional testing, aging, and reliability testing.
• Analyze production line test issues to improve coverage, efficiency, yield, and reliability.
• Support NPI activities and provide technical support during mass production.
• Prepare technical documentation, procedures, and training materials.

PCBA Test Equipment Electrical Development Engineer Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for PCBA test equipment, including ICT, FCT, ATE, and other automated test platforms.
• Develop test fixtures, jigs, and automated testing solutions based on product testing requirements.
• Create electrical schematics, select components, and perform equipment integration, debugging, and validation.
• Develop and optimize functional testing, programming, aging, and reliability testing solutions.
• Analyze and resolve production line test issues to improve test coverage, efficiency, yield, and equipment reliability.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and provide technical support during mass production.
• Prepare technical documentation, operating procedures, and training materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA test equipment development, automated equipment design, or test system engineering.
• Strong understanding of ICT, FCT, ATE principles and electronic manufacturing test processes.
• Familiar with digital and analog circuit design, as well as communication protocols such as UART, CAN, and RS485.
• Proficient in electrical design tools such as Altium Designer, EPLAN, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to independently perform equipment commissioning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with PLC programming, LabVIEW, Python, C#, or industrial automation control systems is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Consumer Electronics, Automotive Electronics, or New Energy industries.
• Hands-on experience with MES integration, test data collection, and data analysis systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs, industrial PCs, test system integration, and machine vision inspection systems.
• Experience in smart manufacturing or automated production line projects is highly desirable.
