Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking a Debug/Test Engineer (Fresh E&E or Experience with PCBA) in Penang, Malaysia. You will participate in new product development to ensure testability and manage NPI cycles to optimize test processes for smooth production transitions.

You will define test processes, develop specifications, and generate test programs and fixtures for production testing. The role requires strong communication, cross-functional teamwork, and independence, with fresh graduates

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Good knowledge in In-Circuit-Tester and Flying Probe; RF testing and networking knowledge is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Functional and System Level testing.
• Able to work in cross-functional teams to solve operations issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; self-motivated and independent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Participate in new product development to ensure testability.
• Manage NPI cycles and optimize test processes for smooth production transition.
• Define test processes and develop test specs and procedures.
• Develop test programs and fixtures for production testing.
• Diagnose and resolve PCBA and HLA unit failures to maintain testing quality.
• Lead troubleshooting for RMA units and perform root-cause analysis.
• Provide ongoing technical support to production and WIP clearance.
• Execute EC related to test processes and equipment.
• Aim for test yield improvement and maintain test equipment.
