Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
• 1–2 years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of US GAAP compliance and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist month-end close by preparing and posting payroll-related journal entries.
• Support year-end close by posting stock-based compensation, bonuses and other adjustments.
• Liaise with external auditors during year end audit and respond to audit queries.
• Perform monthly payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in the accounting process.
