Job summary

Forvis Mazars in Malaysia is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage monthly and year-end payroll processing and maintain accurate statutory contributions. The role involves collaborating with client HR and directors to ensure payroll data is up-to-date and compliant, including variations, new hires, resignations, transfers and salary adjustments.

The ideal candidate will have an English command, strong numeric skills, and knowledge of tax regulations, with a diploma/degree in HR or related field

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• Experience in payroll is a plus but not essential.
• Strong numeric abilities with high accuracy.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of personal income tax regulations preferred.

Requirements

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in payroll management a plus but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of personal income tax regulations.
• Strong numeric abilities with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Vibrant personality and ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Having knowledge of human resource policies and procedures is an advantage.
• Eager to develop management and leadership skills for a successful career.
