Job summary

The Payroll Analyst - Graduate (APAC HR Operations) at TikTok invites new graduates to contribute to monthly payroll, reporting, and compliance across the APAC region in a fast-paced environment. You will collate inputs, assist with audits, support payroll systems, and partner with HRBPs to deliver accurate employee compensation while learning global payroll standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly end-to-end payroll activities, including collating inputs, outputs, and statutory reporting.
• Assist in improving and implementing payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Support payroll and benefits processes landing according to new policies or changes in law.
• Provide payroll reporting and analysis and assist with internal and external audits.
• Manage payroll vendors by adhering to contracts and SLAs.
• Develop relationships with local authorities (e.g., Social Security, Tax).
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR Operations to elevate employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly end-to-end payroll activities such as collating and validating inputs, outputs and statutory reporting;
• Participate in the improvement and implementation of payroll processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy;
• Support payroll and benefit processes landing according to new policies or law and regulation changes;
• Provide payroll reporting & analysis and assist with internal and external audits;
• Manage payroll vendors effectively by strictly adhering to the contract and SLA;
• Develop relationships with local authorities, not limited to Social Security, Tax, etc;
• Partner and work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and the HR Operations team to elevate employee experience.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in payroll and a solid understanding of fundamental payroll concepts are required;
• Strong understanding of and hands-on experience in cross-cultural communication;
• Prior internship experience with a top-tier accounting firm is required;
• Strong numerical aptitude and comfort working with data; completion of at least 11 ACCA papers is required;
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualification

• Candidates with overseas work experience preferred;
• Willingness to work shifts is preferred.
