Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad seeks an experienced reporting and analytics professional in Kuala Lumpur to drive regulatory reporting, data extraction, and portfolio analytics. You will validate data, build dashboards, and lead UAT for new reporting models, ensuring timely submissions and strict governance.

You will collaborate with data providers across IT and operations, automate workflows where possible, and maintain auditable archives to support regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory reporting and data consolidation.
• Strong data validation and reconciliation skills.
• Experience building dashboards with SQL/Power BI.
• Experience UAT for internal reporting or analytical models.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Management Reporting: Prepare, consolidate, and submit routine departmental, management, and statutory reports to regulators and payment networks with full compliance.
• Data Extraction & Reconciliation: Validate merchant transaction feeds, reconcile MCCs, postcodes, settlement dates and volumes, identify duplicates.
• Portfolio Analytics & Modelling: Build models for merchant segmentation, yield/pricing, volume forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Dashboards & Self-Service Reporting: Design and maintain SQL/Power BI dashboards for real-time visibility into trends and yield.
• UAT & New Reporting/Model Setup: Lead UAT for new internal reporting or models, validate definitions against source data.
• On-Time Delivery & Governance: Manage calendars and end-to-end approvals to ensure timely submissions.
