Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a data-driven analytics professional to coordinate regulatory and management reporting, consolidate data feeds, and build analytical models for portfolio optimization.

You will design SQL/Power BI dashboards, ensure on-time submissions, govern data with auditable trails, and liaise with data providers to validate assumptions and improve automation across reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory & Management Reporting: Prepare, consolidate, and submit routine departmental management reports and statutory/regulatory reports to external regulators and payment networks, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with reporting guidelines.
• Data Extraction & Reconciliation: Extract raw merchant transaction feeds and perform rigorous data validation — reconciling MCCs, postcodes, settlement dates, and transaction volumes, and identifying duplicates or anomalous records.
• Portfolio Analytics & Business Modelling: Build and maintain analytical models to support portfolio optimization — merchant segmentation, yield and pricing analysis, forecasting, and scenario/what-if modelling.
• Dashboards & Self-Service Reporting: Design and maintain SQL/Power BI-driven dashboards giving business leads real-time visibility into merchant trends, portfolio health, and yield performance.
• UAT & New Reporting/Model Setup: Lead User Acceptance Testing for new internal reporting or analytical models, validating data definitions and logic against IT source files.
