Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Commis 2 - Pastry to join our luxury pastry team. You will assist in preparing and presenting desserts, pastries, and baked goods in a fast-paced luxury setting.

Qualified candidates have 1 year of pastry experience, a culinary or pastry certificate/diploma, and strong teamwork with Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiency. Competitive benefits and complimentary hotel staff meals are offered.

Formación

• Certificate or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of pastry kitchen, hotel, or restaurant experience.
• Basic knowledge of pastry preparation, baking techniques, and dessert presentation.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English; strong teamwork and communication are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of pastries, cakes, breads, desserts, chocolates, and other pastry products according to recipes and standards.
• Support mise en place and production for restaurants, banquets, events, and in-room dining operations.
• Ensure consistency in product quality, portioning, taste, and presentation.
• Operate and maintain pastry equipment and workstations.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
• Monitor ingredient quality, storage, labeling, and stock rotation.
• Assist in inventory management and minimize food waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to achieve department goals.
