Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) – KK SUPER MART Cyberjaya is seeking enthusiastic Shop Assistants to join our team. This part-time role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and maintaining smooth retail operations.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment and multitask effectively.
• Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work part-time shifts including evenings and weekends if required.
• Basic numeracy skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products and making purchasing decisions.
• Process transactions accurately at the checkout using point-of-sale systems.
• Stock shelves neatly and organise merchandise according to store standards and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store, including floor, shelves and customer areas.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Monitor stock levels and alert management to items requiring replenishment.
• Assist with merchandising displays and promotional activities.
• Support the team in opening and closing store procedures.
• Comply with health, safety and food handling regulations as applicable.
