Job summary

Tomei Consolidated Berhad is seeking a Part-Time Live Host to front our brand on TikTok Live and Shopee Live, delivering entertaining and informative content to viewers and driving online sales.

You will work with the marketing and e-commerce teams to plan livestream content, maintain product knowledge, and assist with short-form videos. Flexible hours include evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Confident and energetic on camera.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia; English is a plus.
• Familiar with TikTok, Shopee, and social media platforms.
• Experience in livestream hosting or sales is advantageous.

Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Live Host, you will be the face of our brand, hosting live streaming sessions on TikTok Live and Shopee Live. You will interact with viewers, showcase products, and drive online sales through engaging and entertaining content.

Key responsibilities

Host live streaming sessions on TikTok Live and Shopee Live

Introduce, demonstrate, and explain products clearly and professionally

Engage with viewers through live interactions, comments, and Q&A sessions

Encourage audience participation and drive product sales during live sessions

Build a positive and entertaining shopping experience for viewers

Learn and maintain strong product knowledge before each livestream

Work closely with the marketing and e-commerce team to plan livestream content and promotional campaigns

Monitor audience engagement and provide feedback for continuous improvement

Assist in creating short-form video content when required

Ensure livestream sessions are conducted according to company branding and guidelines

About you

Minimum SPM qualification; Diploma or Degree holders are encouraged to apply

Confident, energetic, and comfortable speaking in front of a camera

Strong communication and presentation skills

Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and proficiency in English is an added advantage

Familiar with TikTok, Shopee, and social media platforms

Creative, outgoing, and able to engage audiences naturally

Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to accept feedback

Prior experience in livestream hosting, sales, customer service, retail, or content creation will be an added advantage
