Job summary

Coach is seeking a part-time Coffee Barista for our Mitsui Cafe near Sunway Pyramid. You will greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve drinks, and maintain a clean, inviting workspace while learning about coffee quality controls and presentation.

We value passion for coffee, storytelling about beans, and teamwork in a high-energy setting. Prior beverage experience helps, and ongoing learning is encouraged for growth within the brand.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in food and beverage preparation.
• Background in specialty coffee is an added advantage.
• Passion for coffee and ability to tell stories about the beans.
• Constant self-improvement on coffee beans knowledge.
• Exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
• Preparing drinks, including grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers.
• Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
• Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, at tables, or behind the counter.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
