Job summary

Little Genius Seberang Jaya is seeking a passionate and creative Part Time Art Teacher to join our secondary education team in Seberang Jaya, Penang. This role offers flexibility while making a meaningful impact on students' artistic development and creative expression.

As a Part Time Art Teacher, you will plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons across secondary year groups, inspire students with traditional and digital media, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum coherence.

Qualifications

• Qualified art teacher with a recognised teaching qualification or degree in art, design or related discipline.
• Proven experience teaching art at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of art history, techniques, materials and contemporary art practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging lesson plans and activities.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively whilst maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere.
• Proficiency in both traditional and digital art mediums is highly desirable.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection in an educational setting.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a part-time working arrangement.

About the role

Little Genius Seberang Jaya is seeking a passionate and creative Part Time Art Teacher to join our secondary education team. This is a part-time position based in Seberang Jaya, Penang, offering flexibility whilst making a meaningful impact on students' artistic development and creative expression. As a Part Time Art Teacher, you will be instrumental in fostering a love of art and design amongst secondary school students, helping them develop critical thinking skills and creative confidence through practical and theoretical art education.

Key responsibilities
