About the role
The company is seeking a skilled Panel Wiring Technician to join our growing team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of electrical panel wiring systems. As a Panel Wiring Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all wiring work meets rigorous quality standards and industry regulations. This position is essential to our operations, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality electrical solutions to our clients.

Key responsibilities

Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to technical drawings, schematics and specifications

Install and terminate cables, connectors and electrical components with precision and accuracy

Perform quality inspections and testing of completed panels to ensure compliance with industry standards

Troubleshoot and repair faulty wiring and electrical connections

Maintain detailed records of work completed, including documentation and test results

Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work environment

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

Support the installation and commissioning of panels at client sites as required

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Panel Wiring Technician or similar electrical assembly role within the trades and services sector

Sound understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and technical blueprints

Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to electrical panel assembly

Knowledge of relevant electrical standards, codes and safety regulations

Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues

Physical capability to perform manual tasks including standing for extended periods and working with various tools

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical trades are highly desirable

Experience with industrial control systems or automation wiring is preferred
