Job summary

KPJ Penang Specialist Hospital is seeking a diligent healthcare assistant to provide basic nursing care under supervision and support the ward team in daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Malaysian SPM, certified Basic Life Support, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with a patient‑centred approach and good interpersonal skills to assist in routine rounds, patient transfers, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have Certified Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under supervision.
• Support ward staff and assist with patient rounds and transfers.
• Prepare beds, manage supplies, and maintain cleanliness and order in the ward.
• Record daily charges and assist in administrative tasks as required.
