About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Packing Assistant to join the team at INCH & METRIC MARKETING SDN BHD. This is a full-time position based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. As a Packing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are carefully prepared, packed, and dispatched to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines. This position is essential to our operations, supporting the efficient flow of goods and maintaining the high standards of quality that our customers rely on.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving and inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards before packing
• Carefully packing products into appropriate packaging materials whilst minimising damage
• Labelling packages accurately with order details, barcodes, and shipping information
• Organising and arranging packed items for dispatch according to delivery schedules
• Maintaining accurate records of packed items and inventory levels
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the packing area
• Assisting with stock management and warehouse organisation as needed
• Following company safety procedures and guidelines at all times
• Supporting team members to meet daily packing targets and deadlines

• High school certificate or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in a packing, warehouse, or similar operational role
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time pressure
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and handle products safely throughout the working day
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Familiarity with basic warehouse or inventory management systems is advantageous
• A commitment to health and safety standards in the workplace
