Job summary

LB ADVANCED MATERIAL ASIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a packaging line supervisor to oversee four lines (two bag types), ensuring packaging parameters, quality checks, and smooth operation across shifts.

You will monitor equipment, handle jams and changes, calibrate weighing instruments, manage consumables, and coordinate with forklift operators to ensure accurate pallet handover.

Qualifications

• High school/vocational school diploma or above.
• More than 1 year of experience in automated packaging lines preferred.
• Familiar with the basic principles of weighing, inkjet coding, and palletizing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise jumbo bag machines (1000 kg) and small bag machines (25 kg); oversee palletizers and shrink film labelers; confirm packaging parameters.
• Inspect sealing quality, inkjet batch numbers, pallet patterns, and pallet usage; spot-check net weight.
• Handle jams and breakages (bags/film) and misalignment; contact maintenance for repair and record.
• Support calibration of weighing instruments; requisition and load packaging consumables (bags, film, pallets).
• Confirm packaging changeovers by product grade to prevent wrong packaging.
• Fill packaging records and perform full-pallet handover with forklift operators.

Job description

Supervision position for the operation of four packaging lines (one small bag line + one jumbo bag line per product), with 3 people per shift covering the assigned areas.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the operating status of jumbo bag machines (1000 kg), small bag machines (25 kg), high-level palletizers, and shrink film labeling machines; confirm packaging parameters are correct
• Inspect sealing quality, inkjet batch number legibility, palletizing patterns, and pallet usage; spot-check packaged net weight
• Handle equipment abnormalities such as bag jamming, bag breakage, film breakage, and palletizing misalignment; contact maintenance for repair and record
• Support periodic calibration of weighing instruments; perform requisition and loading of packaging consumables (bags, film, pallets)
• Confirm packaging specification changeover according to product grade to prevent mixed or wrong packaging
• Fill in packaging records and complete full-pallet handover with forklift operators

About you
