Job summary

GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Outlet Supervisor/Sales Assistant cum Cashier (Pharmacy) for Gelugor, Penang. The role covers supervision of daily store operations, cash handling, and delivering excellent customer service within a busy pharmacy-outlet.

You will lead staff, promote promotions, manage stock, and maintain store visuals while ensuring a positive customer experience in a retail hub. Shift work including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Customer-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
• Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outlet operations with the Store in Charge.
• Handle cash, daily reports, and promotions.
• Supervise staff including attendance and briefings.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport.
• Promote products and ongoing promotions to customers.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy and proper records.
• Assist in stock management, merchandising, and cleanliness.
• Support membership benefits explanations to customers.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
